« The Foreign Resort – a mix of dark new wave and explosive post-punk. Hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, the band combines the shadowy mysticism of The Cure’s Pornography era with a driving production aesthetic akin to LCD Soundsystem. Intricate reverb-enveloped guitar lines glide over Steffan Petersen’s motorik bass and Morten Hansen’s powerful drumming, all while Mikkel Borbjerg Jakobsen’s taut and sincere vocal delivery demands your attention.
The trio is currently preparing their next full length release on Artoffact Records in 2019, preceded by the single “She is Lost“. »

« Depuis 2009, Seventeen At This Time cultive une image de groupe discret et marginal. Après deux albums et un EP sortis sur Cranes Records entre 2012 et 2015, le groupe dévoilait en décembre dernier Home Is Where The Heart Is. Préparé avec soin, cet album en forme d’au-revoir explore les dernières demeures d’une musique hantée, creusant toujours plus les ténèbres entrevues sur leur précédent LP Flaming Creatures à la poursuite des ombres de John Balance et Robert Smith.
Scindé en deux, ce disque s’articule autour d’une face A en anglais, véritable lettre d’amour à la musique industrielle des Coil et autres Einstürzende Neubauten ; et d’une face B qui visite une pop française sombre et oubliée que ne renierait pas Hubert Félix Thiéfaine. »
